The mutual fund utilizes its assets to purchase inflation-protected debt securities included in the Barclays U.S. 1-10 Year Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) Index. It may use leverage, swaps and futures contracts, and forward-settling securities, to adjust the fund’s risk exposure.
